Dmitry Romashov

Lecturer, Modern Hebrew

Dmitry Romashov grew up in Russia and Israel. He studied at the Moscow State University and the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. His research interests include topics in Jewish history in antiquity, the development of Modern Hebrew and language acquisition. Since the beginning of his professional career, he has been working in the field of Jewish Studies and Jewish education teaching Hebrew and Jewish history. Dmitry has been a faculty member in the Borns Jewish Studies Program at Indiana University since 2015. He is proud to work in a professional team of Hebrew instructors whose philosophy includes learning through immersion and an individual approach to each student. By applying communicative learning principles and techniques, Dmitry creates a unique learning experience for his students.
